According to Wikipedia, Graffiti is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property.  To some, it is an art form worthy of display in galleries and exhibitions; to others it is merely vandalism.

There are tons of photos of beautiful graffiti, but here are just a few that I took while traveling in New York and Copenhagen last year.  Some are murals, some are considered graffiti, to me, both are equally compelling.  I find most graffiti inspiring, not the mere tagging, but quality outdoor imagery inspires color ideas and color combinations.  What do you think – is it art or is it vandalism?
