When my parents sold the 1910 farmhouse I grew up in and moved into a townhouse with huge walls, they were daunted by the task of filling the expansive walls with artwork.  The job did not take long to inspire their creativity.

I was thrilled to walk into their new home and see how they had used old treasures, that reflected who they are, to fill the walls in their somewhat sterile new townhouse.  My favorite piece is the quilt made out of colorful old silk ties that hangs in the master bedroom against the LEAF .05 wall.

It feels like a painting that walks the line between the abstract and the historical and adds depth and interest to the space.  It is just the kind of piece that adds character and fills the 15 foot tall walls with a perfectly tuned symphony of color!
