The Parker – Palm Springs, CA

Originally Gene Autry’s Melody Ranch estate, The Parker hotel epitomizes classic cool in Palm Springs, California. Once a playground for Hollywood legends like Marilyn Monroe and the Rat Pack, the Parker takes you back to a time of glitz, glamour … and good taste.

Re-designed in 2004 by Jonathan Adler, the Parker interiors combine elements from different eras- like 60s mod and 70s boho- that come together to create a contemporary aesthetic. Pops of colors in furniture, rugs and artwork define comfortable hang out areas against the interior’s bright white brick walls.

Adler’s signature ceramic pieces are scattered throughout the lobby in the form of lamps, vases, and wall mosaics. Positioned next to sparkling chandeliers, Adler remains true to his eclectic, “anything goes” style.
