The Color of Craftsmanship, by YO

I was so inspired and surprised when I saw the images of Dalton Ghetti’s pencil tip sculptures.  It really makes you do a double-take!  Ghetti is a carpenter by trade and makes these phenomenal sculptures as a side interest.  He must be an amazing carpenter, evident by the craftsmanship and creativity of these little pieces!  He uses a razor blade, a sewing needle and a small sculpting knife on the tossed away pencils.  Wow!

Aren’t they amazing? Ghetti doesn’t sell them at all, he gives them as gifts to friends and shows them in galleries where they are available to everyone.
