Copenhagen Color, by LO

This fall, Ginnie and I visited London Design Week for color inspiration and  trend spotting. While we were so close, and flights so affordable- we flew over to Copenhagen to visit some friends, and my homeland. (My great, great grandmother came to America from Denmark- the story is that she was a relative of Hans Christian Andersen. This has yet to be verified – my grandmother, who recounted this information, tended to mix up facts.) Anyway, we saw first hand how the Danes wear their color on the outside. Interiors were almost exclusively white, save for an accent here and there, but the OUTSIDE…. That’s where they really make a colorful statement! Check out the streets and canals sprinkled with colorful row houses- so charming and inviting!
